Methods we accept

We accept card payments and cryptocurrency payments for everything we sell: hardware and equipment from our shop, and freight services booked with us.

All prices are quoted and charged in US dollars (USD). A cryptocurrency amount shown at checkout is a conversion of that USD price at the rate displayed, refreshed while the payment page is open.

02

How card payments are processed

Card payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment provider operating a fiat-to-crypto on-ramp. The provider takes the card payment, converts it, and settles the amount to us onchain. We are not a card acquirer and we do not process card payments ourselves.

Card details are entered only on that provider's own hosted, PCI-compliant payment page. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are never entered on, transmitted through, or stored by our systems or our staff, and we never see them.

The provider is the merchant of record for the card leg of the transaction. Its own terms and privacy notice govern the data you give it.

03

Identity checks on card payments

A first card payment includes a one-time identity verification carried out by the payment provider, as its anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer obligations require. You may be asked for a document and a selfie, and the check usually completes in a few minutes; a first purchase can take up to around twenty minutes end to end. Later payments are quicker.

That check belongs to the provider, not to us: we neither see the documents you submit nor make the decision. The provider may decline or limit a transaction, and where it does we are not able to override it. You can pay in cryptocurrency instead, which settles in under a minute.

04

Cryptocurrency payments

You can pay directly in cryptocurrency. The assets and networks we accept are listed on the payment page, together with the exact amount and the deposit address, and the address is generated for your payment alone.

Send only the asset on the network shown. Anything else — a different coin, or the right coin on the wrong network — cannot be recovered by us or by anyone.

A cryptocurrency payment is final once confirmed onchain and cannot be reversed. Network fees are deducted from the amount you send rather than added on top, so payments routinely arrive slightly light; we credit what actually arrives and any balance remains due.

05

Your receipt and reference

Every payment produces a reference, emailed to you with your receipt and shown on the confirmation page. Quote it in any question about an order, a consignment or a payment and we can find it immediately. Where a payment is made onchain you can also verify it yourself on the relevant block explorer.

06

Refunds, chargebacks and disputes

Neither payment route has a reverse gear: an onchain payment cannot be sent back to the wallet it came from, and a card payment funded through an on-ramp is not reversible to the card. Our refund and store credit policy sets out what we offer instead.

If something is wrong with an order, contact us at [email protected] before opening a dispute with your bank. We would rather fix it directly, and we can usually do so faster than a chargeback process can.

07

What we will not take payment for

We sell hardware, workwear, safety equipment, tools, industrial supplies and freight services. We do not accept payment for anything we are not permitted to carry or sell, including the goods listed in our terms of carriage, and we do not process payments on behalf of anyone else.

We comply with the sanctions, anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer requirements our payment providers place on us, and we may decline or refund a payment where those require it.
